Collective Voice is seeking to appoint three new independent trustees to join its board. As the national alliance of drug and alcohol treatment and recovery charities we work towards a vision in which a thriving treatment and recovery field – and voluntary sector – enable anyone in England to access evidence-based and person-centred support.
We are entering our next chapter with the publication of a new strategy and last year’s appointment of an Independent Chair. We will build on that by appointing three new independent trustees to sit alongside existing member trustees drawn from the leadership of Collective Voice alliance members. This will therefore be a crucial period in the organisation’s development and a fascinating time to join!
Process
To apply please read the trustee Person Specification closely and send your C.V. with a short cover letter (no more than 2 pages) telling us about yourself, why you would like to join our board and how your skills and experience can help us deliver our mission to Peter Keeling (peter@collectivevoice.org.uk) by Wednesday 27 April. Please also complete the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion form below.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the organisation or trusteeship, please contact Director Oliver Standing (oliver@collectivevoice.org.uk).
We will invite shortlisted candidates to meet our Chair, Vice Chair and a third board member for a remote interview on the morning of Wednesday 11 May or Wednesday 18 May. Appointed trustees will be invited to join the Board meeting on Thursday 16 June (11:00-13:00) where they will be formally appointed.
