Local ‘system snapshot’ events announced

We are pleased to announce that Collective Voice will be holding four events to bring people together from across the treatment and recovery system to discuss local challenges and hear about our new strategy and plans for the future!

At a time of great political uncertainty these events will provide a forum for discussion about the challenges and opportunities that exist – and a chance to discuss how the organisation can best support the sector in the future. Read more:

What the Sentencing Bill means for people who use drugs and alcohol and services that support them.

The Sentencing Bill is shortly due to enter Committee stage in Parliament. It includes two clauses which would bring positive changes to sentencing by, if well implemented, reducing pressure on the prison system and ensuring that people whose contact with the criminal justice system is related to the way they use drugs and alcohol are able to get the treatment and support they need.
